The Best Online Shopping Websites for Women

Happy Friday!

Yesterday I showed some of my favorite Spring shoes, but today I want to focus on where I actually buy the items I feature on this blog.

I’m pretty into online shopping (see my previous post for tips for saving money from a seasoned shopper like myself), and there are a lot of sites I frequently visit.

However, there are a few main favorites that I always go back to, and I want to share those with you today.

This post isn’t sponsored or anything like that, I just love these stores and want to give genuine recommendations to you all!

Tobi

Tobi is my go-to any time I need formal wear.

The dresses are inexpensive compared to other places, and they’re all so gorgeous and flattering!

I always get the most compliments when I’m wearing something from Tobi.

You can see some of my favorite dresses from them here, here, and here.

Lulus

I’ve posted my great finds from Lulus on the blog before, so you guys already know how much I love them.

Their clothes are so stylish, not too expensive, and are great quality.

They have great sales fairly often, too!

Saks Fifth Avenue

I used to steer clear of this store because I figured everything was crazy overpriced, but they actually have great deals on major designer pieces!

I typically only buy items on sale from Saks, but the quality of everything I buy there goes above and beyond.

Hautelook/Nordstrom Rack

Another store I’ve posted about previously, but Hautelook/Nordstrom Rack is another great option for buying luxe brands without having to pay a fortune.

They have new deals every day and they feature a lot of my favorite designers.

Some great finds I’ve gotten from them are here, here, and here.

There are a lot of other stores and websites where I like to shop, but I wanted to highlight a few that aren’t as well known and that carry unique items.

I’d love some suggestions from you guys for new places to browse, though!

Comment below to let me know where you score big when shopping, and thank you for reading my post!

Check back tomorrow for the next one in my April blogging challenge. ❤ 🙂

Top Picks: Spring Shoes

Hi everyone,

Spring is finally upon us and I’m excited to change up my wardrobe a bit.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the winter and the snow, but I tend to buy a lot of warmer-weather clothes in the offseason and it’s nice to be able to finally show them off.

In addition to new Spring clothes, I’ve got plenty of Spring shoes to wear and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you.

All of these are pretty cheap, which is always a plus in my book! I’ve included links for everything below the pictures.

Espadrilles

This is actually the first pair of espadrilles I’ve bought for myself in years, and I’m excited to wear them all Spring/Summer.

When I purchased these online, I didn’t notice the sparkled heel (does this happen to anyone else when online shopping, or is it just me who fails to look closely enough at the pictures?) but it was a nice surprise when I unboxed these because I really like that extra detail.

The neutral pink of these shoes can go with many different outfits, and because of their style and extra sparkle they work well with both dressy and casual looks.

Sneakers

You have probably seen these Nikes all over my Instagram and even in some pictures on my blog.

I love the unique color of them and they are so comfortable.

I can’t recommend these sneakers enough and they are available in a variety of fun color combinations.

Sandals

As I mentioned in my Intro post, I definitely have an edgy side when it comes to my style.

I love anything with skulls, studs, or spikes, so I love that these sandals combine a bow with cute little spikes.

I also love the unique color of these and wore them constantly on my honeymoon in Hawaii a few months ago.

Sandals

This is another flat sandal that’s more plain but looks really nice with a summer dress.

These shoes are definitely a great Spring or Summer staple and (as you can see a little bit in the picture) I’ve already been giving them plenty of use.

Sandals

A heeled sandal is a great way to dress up any outfit.

I included these shoes in my February Sales Haul post but wanted to mention them here again because I think they’re so pretty and versatile.

The block heel is also great because it’s easier to walk in and doesn’t make my feet hurt like other heels often do.

Heels

These lavender pumps are beautiful in any season, but the color is especially perfect for Spring.

I’m already thinking about what outfit I can pair these with for Easter, but I’ll undoubtedly find other events to wear them to all season long because of the pretty, light color. Bonus—they have a slightly padded sole so they’re very comfortable.

I’ve tried to include a variety of shoe types rather than just all sandals or sneakers, even though that is what I gravitate towards most often.

The fun thing about fashion is that there are so many ways to change it up and every day or activity is an opportunity to wear something new or different.

Are there any new Spring shoes you’re excited to wear, or any old ones that you bring back every year?

Comment below to let me know your favorites!

As you probably know by now, I’m always on the lookout for great new styles. 🙂 ❤

February Sales Haul

Hi all,

Hope everyone had an awesome February.

There were a lot of sales going on this past month, and I want to share the new items I found at amazing sale prices, so here’s my February Sales Haul!

All of these pieces are from Lulus and Forever 21; and while I placed both orders during Presidents’ Day sales, they are still marked down!

I’ve added links to buy for everything so you can grab some of these before they’re out of stock.

Tie Front Top

I love the colors of this top. The tie front makes it more flattering around the waist, and it’s the type of style that can be dressed up or down for a lot of different occasions.

Leopard Crop Hoodie

This might be my favorite piece from the entire haul. I’m getting more into animal prints lately, and this soft, lightweight hoodie is the perfect pop to add with black high-waisted jeans and black sneakers (my most common bottom and shoe choices :P)

Extra Long Cardigan

This staple piece was so cheap, I bought it in both teal and cream. It’s around knee length on me and has a waffle-knit texture.

Metallic Tweed Jacket

I’ve been eyeing tweed jackets for a while, but they are typically so expensive. I was happy to find this one for under $35 and with a unique metallic detail.

Ruffled Blouse

I wish I found this top sooner because it would’ve been perfect for Valentine’s Day. The ruffles and flounce sleeves add a dressy element, and this is a great work shirt for any time of year.

Midi Mermaid Dress

This classy halter dress in dark green is perfect for a formal winter event. It’s the perfect thing for me to wear to my husband’s company work party in December. You can never plan too early, right?

Studded White Bag

I have been wanting a studded bag for a veryyy long time. The ones that typically catch my eye are $300+ (on clearance), but I snagged this one for under $20.

Mesh Kitten Heels

Another double-buy! The mesh striping on the front of these heels dresses them up a bit, and I love them in both the Natural and Black colors.

Heeled Sandals

This is the first pair of yellow shoes I’ve ever bought, and I’m pretty excited to wear them. They just scream Spring, and will work with so many different outfits.

I’m really happy with these purchases, especially since they were all so discounted. Everything is still in stock and on sale right now,

Did you score big with Presidents’ Day weekend sales, or find anything really special this month? Let me know in the comments below.

I’ve been getting some new Spring looks ready in anticipation of the season change, so be on the lookout for those soon! 🙂 ❤

Smart (and Free!) Ways to Save Money While Online Shopping

Hi all,

So, this is probably no secret by now, but I have quite the passion for online shopping. I love finding new looks and am constantly browsing my favorite sites for new items.

Seeing those packages at my doorstep is always a pleasant surprise to come home to, especially when I get to do fun try-ons and share my finds with you all here and on my Instagram.

One of my absolute favorite parts about online shopping is finding great deals or other ways to save money, and any way that I’m able to save or find quality items for cheaper is a huge win in my eyes.

Since I do a lot of shopping and bargain hunting, I’ve discovered many great methods for saving, and sometimes even earning, extra money while I shop.

Here’s a list of my top online shopping hacks, and they’re all completely free!

1. Join Flash Sale Websites

There are a ton of websites out there that offer flash sales for top brands. Basically, they sell quality items that are overstocked or are no longer considered New Arrivals, for a fraction of the original price.

The sales typically last for a few days each, and these sites have a bunch of new sales going on every single day!

My top favorite flash sale sites are Hautelook (by Nordstrom), Saks Off 5th (by Saks 5th Avenue) and Ruelala.

These sites all offer frequently feature top expensive brands with large percentages off, and they all offer free shipping after a certain dollar amount is in your cart. Ruelala even offers free shipping for 365 days with a one-time purchase.

You do need to sign up for an account to purchase from the sites, but all 3 accounts are completely free to sign up for and use.

If you like to buy designer or higher-end merchandise but don’t want to pay a ridiculously high price, these sites are great for you.

Click any of these links to sign up for the sites: Hautelook, Saks Off 5th, Ruelala.

2. Use Cash Back Add-Ons

Have you ever heard of apps like Ebates or Honey? They are getting more popular but a lot of people still don’t know about these amazing tools that literally pay you to shop!

You download the apps either on your phone or as an add-on to your web browser (or both!) and, voila! You start to get cash back for your shopping.

When you navigate to a website, the Ebates or Honey add-on will ask you to “activate” whatever percentage of cash back is available for that site. Once you do that, cash back will be added to your account after you make a purchase.

It’s so easy, and I’ve already gotten back hundreds of dollars using these apps.

Sign up using my links and you can get a bonus $10 to start yourself off: Ebates, Honey.

3. Shop Around Before Buying

When I’m shopping, my goal isn’t just to get something on sale. It’s to get it for the absolute lowest price available.

So even if I see an item is on sale, I don’t stop there. I usually plug it into Google or another site to see if any other stores are offering lower prices.

I like using Google Shopping because not only does it show you the price of the item from multiple stores, it also shows results for different colors of that item are available.

Simply go to google.com/shopping and type in the name of the item you’re looking for.

It’s always better to be more specific, so try to copy and paste the exact name of the product from the original site if you can find it.

If you can’t find the original name, Google may include results for some similar products, but I’ve actually found items that I liked even better than the original that way!

4. Track Items Before You Buy

Sometimes there’s a bag or pair of shoes that I just have to have, but it isn’t on sale. Rather than buying it at full price, I decide to wait a little and see if the price goes down.

Price tracking apps are perfect for situations like this, because they keep track of your favorite items and notify you when things go on sale

There are a lot of apps like this, but Shoptagr and Lyst are two of the highest rated, and also happen to be two of my favorites.

Not only do they keep track your favorite items and stores for sales, they also help you find other places where the items are available! Never miss a sale, or have trouble finding a great item, again.

I hope the tips above help you save some money and become the savviest shopper you can be.
